This Cartoon Will Change Your Life

The True Cost of Food is an extremely entertaining short film cartoon put out by the Sierra Club. It follows the perilous journey of a soccer-mom, her soccer-child, and an (extremely ugly) baby to the Buy-It-All-Mart, where they discover the true cost of the food sold there. Luckily, the day is saved by a crotchety cashier at aisle 16 1/2, (like Harry Potter's platform 9 3/4. Only much cooler.) who directs the soccer-mom to the Farmer's Market across the way. I won't spoil the ending but i will say it involves some tasty linguine and Italian grandparents. Which is always a good thing.
watch it here.
