FSP Meeting Change, Green Thumb Conference, WWOOF Panel

CoreFoods is hosting a panel on WWOOF, which is an organization that connects “willing workers” to farms around the world where they can work in exchange for room and board. Since the event, which I encourage you to attend, is during the FSP meeting time at 8pm, the FSP MEETING WILL MOVE TO 9pm this Sunday. Same place—Math 520. See below for more info about the WWOOF panel.

Green Thumb, a department of NYC Parks and Rec., is hosting a conference on gardening in the city with workshops, speakers and a bunch of city “greening” groups. It will take place March 15th in the Bronx and only costs $3 if you register in advance, $5 otherwise. You can check out GreenThumb here: http://www.greenthumbnyc.org/GreenThumbGrowTogether.html
