first REAL FOOD NEW YORK meeting
Students from schools all over New York state will be gathering on SUNDAY, DECEMBER 2nd to discuss the Real Food Movement, and more specifically: the future of Real Food New York. It will be an amazing opportunity for Columbia & Barnard students to collaborate with other schools about bringing this movement onto our campus. All students and stakeholders are invited to attend.
We’ll be discussing a wide range of topics, but focusing mostly on how the movement applies to our institutions. We also look forward to hearing from a few knowledgeable speakers (who are also presenting at Good Food Now!, Just Food’s Regional Summit on Saturday: http://www.justfood.org/summit/index.html). Most importantly, this (post-Yale Real Food Summit) meeting will be an opportunity to share resources and build momentum. This is not an event to be missed!!
RSVP to alisonrpowell@gmail.com, if you’d like to attend.
Sunday, December 2nd
10am-5pm (Lunch provided).
