Politics of Food Conference at Columbia
It's Election Day, and while the garden drifts into winter slumber politics are abuzz, including the politics of food.
Columbia is hosting a conference on food politics on November 19th, and we encourage any and all interested individuals to attend. There are some important speakers on the agenda including Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer, New York City Mayor Bloomberg, New School Food Studies professor Tom Forster, and Father Miguel d'Escoto Brockmann, president of the United Nation General Assembly.
